Hi Tom,
Reminds me of the biotech craze around 1990. They were quite the rage at the time. Although a few 'first-tier' companies grew on to be large caps, many of them quietly spent the next 10 years sinking unnoticed into oblivion.

Then, all of a sudden....almost 10 years later...BOOM!

I loaded the Biotech industry group in my charting software last week and took a look around. Quite interesting to see so many 'baggers'. I saw a lot of familiar names that were beaten to almost nothing over the past decade, revived just recently in a majestic way.

Imagine the fortitude required to be reaping the benefits today. On a sad note, I saw a few stocks I used to follow closely that could have been had for pennies on the dollar. I wasn't convinced the sector would come back into favor with such a group of money-losing stocks. It was quite a fire-sale.

Want to hear an even sadder story? Have you ever bought 100 shares of a $4 stock on a whim, planning to come back and focus on it a little more in the future...see what happens? I mean you can't AIM 100 shares of a $4 stock. So anyway, I did just that with MITK last December. I don't know what's worse than having the smallest position I ever bought triple. What do I do now? Take the measley profit to Vegas? Ehh...I'll hang on for the ride.

One last note. It's interesting that the Good Fortune Newsletter (I built the website at fundsystem.com), switched from being in the money-market for many months to Fidelity Select Biotech this week.

Best Wishes,
D1
