You hit it right on Harry - all the glitz, hype, press releases in the world can not make up for a product WORKING AS ADVERTISED in network security (including authentication, file access, resource access etc). Directory Services products MUST work otherwise they are still "a work in progress" and not suitable for production networks. The problem is that most IT professionals do not "control the purse strings" so they are often times stradled with a product the CIO made a deal for. There is where the marketing dollars are aimed at. Thankfully more and more CIOs are not completely following on blind faith anymore. Regards, Peter J Strifas
