What "tricks" were pulled in SC? Pat Robertson identified himself on those taped messages. McCain's campaign was too gutless to. Then they lied about it.

Yeah, when it all boils down, there is NOT a BIG difference in the two. AND if you look back, you will not see a post where I slam McCain like Bush gets slammed on this thread. AND if McCain gets the nod I WILL vote for him in the Nov. election. I disagree, I believe that both men have character and both have flaws and both have closets in their past from imperfect lives. DO we beat down both men to the point that the winner will be wincing by the time either gets a shot at Gore?? One advantage that I think Bush may have is that I think he can work with congress where as McCain may be prone to bully his way around, and make everyone mad and get nothing done. He keeps talking of the iron triangle in Washington...well IMO he has been part of it for a good many years. SC, I do not believe is going to haunt Bush UNLESS Republicans and Ind. start to believe Sharpton, and Derschowitz(sp?), Conyers, and in order for that to happen McCain has to jump in bed with them...Do you think he will? IMO, the slams should not be so hard on either side of Bush/McCain, because sooner than later some of us are going to be eating our hats...(the jury IS out on whom, so don't pass the salt yet!!
