You don't have to be a OO-java geek to be able to program it, but it allows for quick development and easy integration with the db of you choice. Other impressions .. - The bulk of the code is actuall HTML that call CF procedures to extend the capabilities of the web platform. - Packets that are sent to/from the client PC are smaller than java so that the first pass response times are much better.
