I missed out on the IPO, but is it time to get in on Allaire? They went public in January at $20 and quickly rose into the 50's. The price has been up and down, but not bad for an Internet stock. Allaire had $20M in revenue in 1998 compared to $8M in 1997. They also look like they on the march to profitability. They announced a deal with Compaq today (it's on businesswire). Marketwatch has praised Allaire's "rock solid performance" cbs.marketwatch.com I see the ".cfm" (means the site uses Allaire's ColdFusion) in URL's all over the Web. I checked out AutobyTel (ABTL) after last week's IPO and they use ColdFusion. Even Domino's uses it. Is it time to get in? | ||||||||||||||
