Thanks for the Bloomberg comments on AMAT & TSM; I missed them.

He liked TSM for the obvious reason, capacity in the world sold out right now, a lot of fabless chip companies doing well, needing someone to fab for them, etc. But capex's equal to sales, wow.

The guy seemed to know his stuff, sorry about the sketchiness.

You saw about the price upgrade on Intel by BBRS Dan Niles, and his prediction that their 1Q would be sequentially up in revenue.


Isn't this precisely what INTC was forecasting? They may have said flat to slightly up, but with boxmakers sold out of chips across the board, it didn't take a genius to see that this Q1 would be different for INTC than others. I am amazed at the divergence between INTC and MSFT; this is as wide as I can remember. INTC is not shipping their chips with Linux yet are they? Buying opp IMHO.
