about watermarking........ Bob: I believe this company is the frontrunner for SDMI for watermarking. "The Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) announced its intentions to adopt ARIS Technologies' digital audio watermarking system. The 4C Entity selected the ARIS/ Solana audio watermark technology for its digital audio copy protection package." It would seemed like SDMI has decided on their WM technology. I think the hold-up is more on the timing of content digitization and contracts revision w/ artists to cover the ddigital music. Aris is created by merger of Aris and Solano ( also a San Diego based company B4 merger) Here is their website: musicode.com
