I think AMR is for adding video memory -- not sure though.

This board is only rated up to 750MHz, not sure what would happen if you tried to overclock higher. I was thinking maybe a 550@733. Not sure how the peripherals would behave with the busses overclocked like that, though.

Note that the Tyan isn't really an overclocker's board like the Abit with all the available FSB speeds. But then, maybe it doesn't have a lot of the problems too...

I'll have to check on that newsgroup for Tyan motherboards you gave me.

The A stands for audio, the M stands for modem and the R stands for riser. See the following for a smidgen of information on this subject.
