Those are exactly the sort of revenue projections ZITL was making when it traded at these levels. That was before they abandoned their failed Y2K venture.

Fedex and UPS must be sweating bullets over ZIXI's coffee and doughnuts seminars in Dallas.....

That post is one of the biggest hype jobs I have ever seen on SI. Good fun, though.

Sarge, I toy with these guys for my own amusement sometimes.

This was one of those times.

I enjoy watching the reactions of tommie boy and the less popular (than he) SI personalities on this thread. I could very easily have just pulled that URL off of the other site and used it in my own post here. But where would the fun in that be?

Instead of commenting on the actual subject of the post, this band of Mary Men (sorry for that one tom, but I couldn't resist considering the tone of the posts you and I have directed at each other lately) felt the need to bash this poor guy for the volume of his purchase. An interesting point since they would never divulge this information about their own trades (at least not publicly, that why they invented PM's), and more interesting still if you consider that the author of that post may or may not have even given an accurate number of shares to begin with (although I suspect he did).

In regards to the lifetime membership fees charged by SI, which I believe to be justified, I would make one interesting observation. Those who were around early on this site didn't have to pay any fees. SI was in need of a core membership and didn't have any real verification system of who was joining. As a result, and especially once rumors in their change of policy regarding free membership got closer to fact, a number of people (certainly not me) who were here began signing up additional names (for free) and are to this day posting through a number of aliases...some on the same thread. My point is that you never know who you are talking to on these forums, and you also never know if those who oppose your viewpoint are actually on the other side of the trade (short or long) themselves or not.

BTW...One of these days I will have to have someone look into this ZITL for me, that these guys get so wrapped up in all of the time. I truthfully have still not ever looked at that one, or the circumstances surrounding it.

Have a good weekend.

Enjoy the ride!!
