nihil, Again you start with the observations of a demented mind. Your getting out of control again. Is the self-medication not working properly? ~H~

The Republican Party claims to be the party for less gov't, yet they continue to support legislation that expands the role of gov't into such personal issues as abortion. They also wish to expand gov't into issues of morality and religion. They're only concerned with less gov't when it involves issues that concern the Democrats. Republicans are very happy to increase gov't when it comes to issues that are dear to their campaign contributors.

I'm glad that shrub calls himself a"compassionate conservative" as it implies that the plain, old fashioned conservatives had no compassion!

Damn, nihil, that's a hell of a good post!

Those who are less consistent on the issue will say: "We will be compassionate in adminstering justice."

To which we reply: "If abortion is murder, and abortion is necessarily pre-meditated (nobody that I know has had an 'accidental' abortion, and if the victim is totally helpless, then how could you NOT send the responsible persons to the chair?"

Their reply: The same spineless crap that will result in another republican ("the stupid party") loss come November.
