Actually, ADC had no choice. Pair is DOMINANT, just DOMINANT, in the rural e&m hoot and holler market segment. What a steal!

john A mistake I sometimes make is to go after a hot new technology only to get my head handed to me because I forgot about the customer. Believe me - when these small suppliers are dealing with the major Telcos they are at a big competitive disadvantage to the ADCT, CISCO, LUC, NT,etc. Why because the Telcos want to deal with a small number of suppliers that have broad product offerings and the support that goes with it. ie. The best mousetrap doesn't have the big advantage you might think they do.
