There's a 'Remove Subjectmark' url right where the View Subjectmarks should be. ... lol ... Bryan, it was imho a major mistake to kill real SI just because it made that go2net site look sick ... a few more years of tweaking and you might have approached Dryer standards.

Antartica v. Antarctica Hope you all appreciate this story. About two months ago, we were having an ongoing battle with my son's school about providing us with accurate answers to material so that we could make sure that he learned it correctly. One day, the wife calls me complaining that son has a test the next day on the continents AND he has to know how to spell them; but, the school has not sent us anything with all of the correct answers. All we had was a blank map of the continents. Being a fairly well educated person, I told her not to worry. I thought I could easily handle the continents without an answer sheet from the school. I went home early that day, and just to prove my point convincingly, took the son into the pool to study. He thought it was great: wife did not appreciate the humor. For about an hour we worked on the continents in the pool. I taught my son to spell the continent at issue by breaking it into three parts that I knew he could easily remember -- Ant -- art -- ica. Fortunately for the real story (unfortunately for the punch line of this story), my wife caught the error later that night. After getting to hear about what a great idea it was (NOT) to study in the pool and about how much we really needed the answer sheets after all, my 10 year old son and I both learned to spell "Ant - arc - tica" correctly. Neither of us shall ever forget it (I just asked him again to be sure) and unfortunately, we won't be doing any more studying in the pool. Troy

Grief and sadness. I went to SI this morning and got this ugly, disgusting, cluttered, distracting, screen in place of my simple, pure SI screen. I guess you guys really did finally destroy the true SI. Somehow I never believed you would be so insensitive and uncaring to do it -- like my wife who keeps threatening to divorce me if I keep leaving the toilet seat up, but we know she never will. But since you went over the edge with SI, maybe now I really do have to worry about my marriage. I guess you never learned from the Coke debacle. Unfortunately, I have already paid for my lifetime subscription, so I can't vote my distress by stopping paying you. And my disgust with you isn't quite enough to make me desert what I have bought and paid for, not to mention all the friends I have here. But I can no longer count the SI staff among my friends. Infinite sadness is to lose an old friend.
