George, yes, but not yet...eventually i expect first the hedge funds, then the mutual funds and lastly the public to engage in a bout of panic selling of hi-tech issues. the pendulum has swung so far in the direction of greed that the swing back in the other direction will be of commensurate size.
the theory that 'new economy' stocks are immune to all negatives befalling the economy, be they higher oil prices, rising rates, whatever, will be discarded at some point.
it is but a part of the rationalization game.
