Wrong. Democrats want to bestow special rights to certain members of our society based on what they do in a bedroom. That is a fact, and it is called "Gay Rights".

I am not gay, and I do not have those rights as they are defined in my state's law. They deny me those rights because of what I won't do in a bedroom.

How can this be any clearer?

Please, give me an example of where Democrats are interfering in "bedroom politics".

Example: 70 year old woman owns a duplex. She chooses not to rent to gays. Democrats would interfere with her freedom to rent her own bedroom to anyone she wants to for whatever her reason.

Quotas mean interfering with the right to hire the person best suited to a job. The minimum wage means interfering with the right of contract. Many environmental initiatives interfere with property rights, for example, by forbidding the use of "wetlands". These are just a few examples.....

The privilege of marriage is extended by the state as a means of encouraging the formation of families. If gays want to solemnize their relationships, they can do so within their community, for example, in the Metropolitan Church. They are asking for the legal prerogatives of marriage, however, as an additional means of legitimating certain sexual practices. Thus, "gay marriage" is a form of "bedroom politics".......
