After being away for a few weeks it was nice to catch up on the thread. I am truly enriched having read indepth analysis of puddle lights and tissue box holders.

Lindy, glad to hear you found a few "younguns" to dance with. Tef, don't let these curmudgeons call you whipped....they all spent their time changing diapers I'm sure. Although I must agree with one poster (was it Lindy?) who said that the second most rewarding time you will experience after raising the rugrats is when you officially become an "emptynester"

As for cars, you guys are still beat your chests about bubbamobiles, when are you going to learn that german engineering is by far the finest?

On a somewhat serious note, GSM is everywhere in southeast Asia. Seems like the kids were carrying 2 phones a piece at times. I also took the time to read Harry Dent's Roaring 2000's under several well placed palm trees. I agree it should be required reading along with TFM. The macro view is eye opening and fits quite well alongside GM's theories.

It's good to be back among the curmudgeonly, although after a very relaxing vacation, it may take me a while to get into the swing of things.
