I bet you are so cute-- the mothers are probably all wishing you were theirs. You haven't really given us a Thomas update lately-- has he been back for his first weighing? DO you think the adjustment has gone well for Helen? It sounds as if it has, you seem to be spending a lot of time with her, and that's so wonderful.
I was looking for Valentine's cards and there was one of those photo kinds-- you know, a picture of a real baby on the front. It was a little fuzzy headed blonde about a year old, naked, about 3/4 back to the camera, only a partial profile. And I swear it was Ammo-- the hair, the little chubby legs, the curve of his cheek, the way he used to stand leaning forward, his hands clasped behind his back.
My heart felt as if someone had squeezed it very hard.
The card is on the frig now under the very worn out and yellowed poem that has been there since the boys were born- the one that closes-
My hands, once busy, now are still,
The days are long and hard to fill,
I wish I could go back and do
The little things you asked me to...

Very corny, I know- but I guess I read that thing at least once a day and it really did keep me centered.
All those things you do are building this wonderful Daddy person in her heart.
