Glad to see there are no weenies on here today! Sounds like everyone is positive again, unlike a couple of days ago when the negative vibes were on here for awhile. Sounds like the V-man got everyone thinking positive ($$$$). What's that commercial say.... "Now, let's light this candle"..... hee hee hee With that news Ruffian posted yesterday about the 16 firm alliance and the ITU.... wow for the Q. JDSU also looking absolutely super. And, anybody checked CREE calls ITM for Sept? Not bad of a premium at all. Check the CREE Sept 120's, CQRID. Like the V-man, my Dad died after working his whole life and saved and saved..... after he died my Mom just kept saving and saving too.... CD's, no stocks. You know the story. They came through the depression era. Finally about two years ago I got my Mom to let me open her an account and send me $10,000 when a CD matured. Then a few months later, I talked her into sending me another $10,000 when a CD matured. Then again, another $10,000 six months later. I didn't say much about it when she'd ask about the account other than "We're doing OK with it Mom, don't worry." Then would come the typical discussion from her about what if the market crashed.... etc. You just have to listen on the phone.... I only trade options. I would not begin to try to explain that to her. Well, I called her a few weeks ago and said, "Mom, good news, you know that account I opened for you a couple of years ago from the money from those 3 CD's? Well, you are now a millionaire"..... She cried and after a few minutes on the phone, she settled down and then said, "I wish your Dad knew this... he would be so proud since he worked so hard." I told her. I said, "Mom, he knows. I know that he knows." Everyone have a great weekend. Be thankful.... Great day in Arkansas. Wonderful. Rick
