If I understand what you are asking, I believe it is related to the fact that you have the option turned on that causes the pointer to go first to the quote box at the top of the page. I believe if you go into options and turn this option off, then the problem will disappear.

I hate the new SI; the fonts have less weight and are harder to read. All my saved messages in folders have disappeared; only 4 pm's remain.
