jc, up and running with w2k on my new hp. i want to turn my old win98 system into a linux monster (just to get ready for when EVERYONE is on nix' <g>. What should I do? Should I keep win98 on it. I want to be able to exchange files back and forth and use the nix box as a file store for backups and sh*t. which version of linux is best? I want a CHEAP version cause all my stocks are "old" economy. <g>

I also have a voodoo 2000 card in it. will that be a problemo? I have a ati card I could put back in if need be.
