i've always been confused by rock journalists who say richie valen's la bamba and bob dylan's like a rolling stone are essentially the same song. musically, that is... not lyrically. i've read that more than once. and i just can not hear it.

otoh, what i've never read, but firmly believe, is that u2's angel of harlem (musically not lyrically) is a complete rip off of dylan's like a rolling stone. can anyone else hear that?
