Good morning Lew. I have been following haqui's and your posts about the guidelines for an unregistered Church and I noticed that you are in complete agreement with Haqui's statements that all Churches are not worth attending and that this Church somehow is going against God's Word. This surprises me that you would agree with this since I understood that you are a member of an organized Church.
I don't believe that a great percentage of todays Churches are what God intended but I would not go so far as to believe that all Churches are now taboo for a Christian. I don't agree with the membership lists and preaching of works doctrines but I would be the last to tell anyone to not go to the Church of their choice. This is a freedom that we should guard with our lives if necessary.

I would like to know what part of their guidelines that you think are against God's Word. I consider myself a good citizen and pay my taxes but where does it say that a Church is not exempt from taxes? I believe that Pat Robinson's Church lost their tax exempt status but I was not surprised considering the politics that they are involved in.

It sounds like that Church is trying to defend itself from the decrees of an organization(IRS) that does not answer to any other body of law. If we reach the point that Churches can be taxed and locked up, where does that leave us Christians?
