SunSpot: Disabuse yourself of the concept that MSFT is not able to create a system that can be transferred to Silicon and updated by software. Evidently Sony is satisfied as are other purveyors of CDMA and GSM tech such as QCOM and ERICY respectively. The fact that they own the desktop is exactly why you want to be tied in. Boss can type a message into his PC and all the folks he wants to talk to worldwide get the message. NXTL is another one that is being fooled by MSFT I guess. JFD
