re: "Current general market has yet to realize that INTC is no longer competitive at the top-end and hasn't been since late October and that these price cuts are acts of desperation to stem an eroding top-end retail market share."

LOL - How long have you been following this market? I admire your enthusiasm but you need to put your bias away and live in the real world. AMD is trending lower and Intel higher. A good earnings report which I fully suspect from both AMD and Intel will propel both stocks higher than where they sit today......any other guesses at certain prices by certain dates are just simple WAGs and 9 out of 10 times are wrong as you have proven. You are confident in the stock and with good reason.. and it should go up over the next 12 months. You should buy some Intel too as the fundamentals could not be better...just ask Dan Niles who seems to be right when it comes to numbers the last few quarters.

Comment (1) - WRONG !!!!

Comment (2) - Independent Benchmarkers have Verified that Intel's Coppermine is FASTER than an equivalently clocked AMD AthWiper in 8 out of 13 benchmarks !!!

Comment (3) - You shouldn't lie to your fellow AMDroids - they get mighty mad when they are led down a BLIND ALLEY !

Comment (4) - Is the State Of Denial located above the 49'th parallel ?

Hi Niceguy:

Just when start worrying about the 800 pound gorilla stepping on AMD, I read your reassuring post that I should hang on instead of telling my broker to "get me the hell out...now!"
