Haqi,

Evening. If every question could be answered according to man we would be right back where we started.....

The congregation where I assemble has all kinds of folks. For instance, one may not feel comfortable to raise his hands and clap and hollor Hallelujah in the middle of a good point, but the fella sitting next to him may be doing that, and you know what? At that given point in time both are correct. You know what I mean?

Paul does talk to the church(body) at Corinth, and does talk of order. Not that there has to be a 1. 2. 3. do this , this and this, but that all things done should be orderly and not helter skelter. I personaly have no problem with getting an order of worship when I enter, because I am entering not a holy building but entering a period of corporate worship with the saints to beseech God in Psalm, song, and prayer. Our congregation has also chosen to remember the Lords death burial and resurrection weekly by sharing the Lord's supper every Lord's day when we meet. We also have taken the supper on Saturday nights in special meetings, and on other nights in special meetings. The Lord is recorded as saying " do this in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19, and Paul wrote to the church at Corinth 1Cor.11:25)so I am receiving an honor to get to remember the Lord in that fashion.

IMO, just as Jesus was pleasing to The Father, so I believe that many good things were put in His word for our instruction to help make us more like Him. After all, do we not seek to be like our Father??

Have a good (what's left of it) evening.

Nahum 1:7

Haqi, those questions were not directed at you for the purpose of answering but rather more of a pondering "expressed out loud" on my part.

That man Edward Miller (if you saw the link I posted for Dan)was involved in 7 different revivals throughout his lifetime and had much to say about them. By comparing what he has said about revivals to what I've experienced I can only conclude I've yet to be involved in a real one yet but sure look forward to one.
