Did you ever actually look into the eyes of a mountain lion? In the wild? No,no! They are far to elusive to get that close. I used to have "a real job" that required my presence at FT. Hunter Liggett along the inland southern edge of the Ventana Wilderness. While having a "lunch hour" hike, I had a bobcat perpendicularly cross my path about 10 yds (Yes, 30ft!) in front of me. I was terrified! This was so unusual all I could think of was rabies. lurking... lurqer
