OT - My apologies to this thread for my rant.

Haim, you are an arrogant theoretician - just like the
"ivory tower" university professor who thinks he knows
how the business world works. You need to get out of
your ivory tower. You also missed a key point. You are
arrogant because you don't live anywhere near the possible
impact area, so you don't care what happens to others.

Why don't you tell the thread where you live so that we
can all see what the impact is on your life? That will
show a lot about where your opinion comes from.

This will be my last post on this subject, but I'm
not finished yet.

" Aside could you in any way justify the large amounts
of money and creativity wasted on brokers and other
promoters who establish worthless DOT.COM companies??

Can you justify the loss of creativity and productivity
due the obsession of all with the stock market??"

You really have a point there. NOT !!!

Snake oil salesmen and brokers and other promoters never
existed before the DOT.COM companies. Give me a break.

They have been leaching off the rest of us since the
beginning of time. This is nothing different.

The CORRECT answer is that we need a severe down market
to correct these excesses. This has nothing to do with
killing people. It has everything to do with investors
taking a look at what real business is behind the hype.

To be sure you understand, did the Dutch tulip bubble
require a war to straighten things out? I don't believe
a war was required. What did the world lose because we
did not have a war?
