Mac,

Not a bad move - not at all.. and I don't disagree but I do think we'll see a run at the end of the day.

<<Tomorrow at 12:00, PALM $61, COMS $85.>>

Well, if PALM is at 61, there is no way COMS is only 85.
Even given the discount, COMS should stay at the 95 and
above.

Another thing, the best thing to do is to buy put at
this moment. No one knows how high (or low) PALM will
be traded tomorrow. It could be 100, or it could be 40.
Buying puts not only protects you from sudden drop and
rise, but also makes sure you still keep your COMS
as a long term money for IRS tax consideration.

I bought 20 Mar 100 put at 6 1/2 this morning to protect
my shares at COMS.

Tomorrow at 12:00, PALM $61, COMS $85.

How in the world do you come up with a COMS value of $85 based on PALM at $61? Even if you said COMS Without PALM is worth $0 then COMS would trade in the neighborhood of $90 to $95. If PALM trades at $61 my bet is COMS will trade at closer to $130.

Regards,

JS
