Cirruslvr,

Look at ATML, a pure flash play. It has $11b market cap with less revenue than AMD's flash revenue. That tells me how the street discounts AMD's processor business. I remember the BOA analyst saying AMD is trading at less than 15 P/E. I just hold AMD tight waiting for a fair valuation.

Cirrus, <Flash is an unspoken leader within AMD. Too bad the market doesn't care too much about deals like this.>

Maybe if Jerry Sanders spent a little more time talking about Flash and a little less time talking about Intel, the market would recognize AMD's successes in Flash.

Flash is an unspoken leader within AMD. Too bad the market doesn't care too much about deals like this. Maybe when flash becomes an even greater part of AMD's income the stock will react to good news like this.

Cirrslvr,

It is good news but unfortunately it was not released until after the markets closed.
