I could be wrong, but I do not think you could list a company that is trading at less than $5 on the NYSE ... nor on the NASDAQ for that matter... NASDAQ gave an ultimatum last year to all OTC BB stocks that were trading at less than $5, that by a certain date, they will be delisted as NASDAQ OTC stocks... don't remember the date though...

so, there you have it, or at least that's what I know...

Merry, If PCCW buys 100% of HKT (not just the C&W portion) then theoretically they could distribute HKT shares to PCCLF shareholders and call in the PCCLF shares. The remaining company would then be HKT and it would be NYSE listed. However Mr Li was not even persuing NASDAQ listing, because of the more stringent reporting requirements in the US, so I'm not sure he wants the listing.
