oh wait, you haven't even heard from Scott yet :

Don't be discouraged Ellen - discussion often leads to disagreement. Stand by your beliefs because when something it true to you it's worth is gauged in your ability to stand by it. Don't let the opinions of others detract from your ideas.

Also, they should not expect to change your mind. I for one don't look to change minds, only explain my ideas/thoughts to others who can then absorb some iota that may be something new. Other than that, I'm just another technology cheerleader - pumped up by the capabilities of Novell's products and their hidden treasures.

IMHO, Novell's partnership alliance plans are totally unclear to me beyond the usual press release. You hear some prepared statement when they announce this new alliance and every so often some company signs up....ok.

Where are the solutions? What are they working on?

Can I get some additional follow up information to say Perot Systems and Novell?

What about Whittman-Hart and their NDS-based eCatalog?

Who are the companies involved and what are they working on? Just a few white paper would suffice until there was some service or product which I could review. Who is reviewing these new products and services? Can I beta test them?

This is what I'd like to know. Perhaps it's out there but you know, it's buried somewhere. If there was an online community (like SI) where I could go and discover answers to my questions!! Wow, that would be powerful.

Join that community and participate - there are no limited as to what I could benefit or how Novell can benefit too.

Regards,
Peter J Strifas

Ellen,

I think you just experienced the very thing that turned me off and away from this thread some time ago. Some posters have transformed this thread into a forum where they just like to exercise their skills in writing long essays which would be better sent for publication in specialized journals (if they can get themselves accepted).

I always flip through messages which are more than one page long. I have other things to do with my time.

The only detailed posts I read, on this thread, are the ones written by Paul because they usually are directly relevant to what I am looking for about the stock: a right mixture of technical analysis and observations about the trading action and of fundamentals. In many other posts, I have to look hard to find the relevancy.

Sorry to budge in ...

Ghassan.
