re: thread - Watched the debates and here are my comments.

Bush had a tough choice - slam mccain or forgive him. I personally would have forgiven him, but after watching ben hur last night on pbs, I understand that it is not easy to forgive when the crime can be so large as the one mccain committed. And mccain looked so humble with his head down while bush laid it on. heartwrenching. poor bastard.

Mccain constantly says my frineds, when bush said it in response to people staying at governors mansion, mccains smart aleck response "that's good" was inappropriate.

Keyes, speaks well, laughs horribly, and indulges in self grandiosity too much.

Bush - the surplus is the people's money, not the government's and he wants to give SOME of it back. I want it all, plus interest.
