If AMD initiated the kind of self destructive move that Intel just did I would be furious. I am already more than a little disappointed that AMD is actually stooping to respond to Intel's vapor release of their pre-production samples running on custom motherboards with elaborate custom cooling. This is not something I would ever be happy about AMD doing and I am very surprised that you would even claim that this is a good thing for Intel. <1 GHz PCs out into the market.> You consider pre-production samples as getting product into the market? What I am doing is pointing out that Intel has announced that it will be shipping systems based on it's pre-production samples, with custom tweaked out motherboards, and custom tweaked out cooling solutions. just so that they can claim to be king of the hill.
