Mark, you are far too smart to continue to denigrate yourself by coming on this thread and bashing Paul. You wouldn't appreciate it if he came on the VISX thread and bashed us for being wrong on the laser vision stocks.

Your insights about SLR would have been more useful a few days back when several of us thought SLR a bargain and bought some. Your SLR comments are appropriate. Bashing anyone is neither useful or appropriate.

Perhaps you are mega rich and feel you have the right to put people down. Paul has been successful enough to retire in his early 40's. I've made a small boat load of money listening to his and others on this thread's insights. I've already made 7 figures in the market this year and I consider myself a rank amateur compared to Paul. I can only dream of the day that I could casually mention picking up 28000 shares of SLR like it was a loaf of bread from the corner store much less own 1% of a listed company.

As I recall, this all started when Paul described a paired trade that shorted CLS, which you owned and have subsequently done well in (I would guess). You perceived this as a slight to CLS and a misuse of the term "paired trade." He explained what he meant by his paired trade and it was apparently different from the classical business school definition which you kept coming back to. It was and still is an argument about apples and oranges. Give it a rest and rejoice in the gains you should have made in CLS.

I hope Paul continues to post his ideas on this board and I hope you will contribute your investment thoughts minus the personal attacks. Judging from your posts on other boards, you can be a thoughtful and articulate contributor.

Best regards,
Bob
