EMC is a known, "safe" entity....and investors are plowing money into the momentum stocks now, once they begin to correct, I would expect to see money flowing back into EMC. EMC has a record of running up against down markets.

Dear JRI: I admit, its got me stumped. Most of my portfolio is in techs and I think all of them are up much more than EMC today. All I can possibly think of is that perhaps there is concern over that past merger and how its going. Anyone know anything about it? JDN
