Oops, I was looking at a different page on that ranking site. The newest one says that Waterhouse is actually now the worst online broker, with E-Trade a close second.

Jerry...I don't want to make it appear that I am unhappy w/NDB. I have been w/them for 8 years or so and they have been very good to me over the years.

What I think is happening here is going on w/almost all the houses and it basically comes down to the mm's either being overwhelmed by trades OR they have so much there to choose from (all our orders) they are only executing those that fit their books the best.

NDB has gone to bat for me in the past few weeks as things have gotten rough and they give me 100% effort I feel. But my orders are just sitting there at times as well, even if I am selling below bid or buying above ask. That is the mm's...not NDB. They are caught in the middle as are other firms.

It is just that we ALL are in a mixing bowl right now...and I want to see how everyone else is handling this situation.

I recently sold some positions at ndb and the web site had problems like alternately telling me I had no open orders and then listing the open orders I know I had. In actuality the orders were on the floor and it was just web site problems ( they say there was a hacker attack or monday's volume was too much).
Anyway some of the orders took 10 minutes to confirm aothers took 1/2 hour and the final one took 4 hours and didn't show till after the close. The actual trades took place soon after I submitted the orders but the comfirms which (according to the fellow I finally reached on the phone for an explanation) had to be done on paper (why?).
Clearly this would not be a good situation for day trading.
It's like driving blindfolded, but the bottlenecks seem to happen eratically.

Considering opening an account w/ RJT.com, MyTrack or Web St. Securities. If anyone has heard anything about them I am interested in OTC BB execution time and fills.

RJT.com Rated as best OTC BB broker on this site (Probably b/c cheap) that was posted on this thread earlier sonic.net

TIA, JR

RJT.com [R.J. Thompson Securities] (1-800-273-3212):
Penny stock (limit and market orders) (online): $5 per trade for any number of shares.
Penny stock (limit & market orders) (touch-tone): $10 per trade for any number of shares.
Penny stock (broker-assisted): $15 per trade for any number of shares.
Bulletin Board, Canadian, foreign stock: not known for sure. Website does not exclude OTC-BB stocks.
Account minimum: $2000.
IRA annual fee: $35. Opening and closing fees not known.
Comments: This firm is now our lowest-cost penny stock broker. Feedback has been pretty good so far. We don't know for sure whether they offer Canadian or foreign stock. Margin rates are very high. First 5 trades free, says one client. Realtime quotes available @$25/month.
