lurqer (who is a very small part Cherokee.) just how small a "part cherokee" are you? :-) i'm part cherokee too. i'm part everything (except armenian). <polvie makes a private joke to someone who is part armenian who will probably read this and be very mad at him and may just decide to join SI so she can come on the porch and bust his chops> i love shiprock i love tsaile (say lee) i love that woman buffy st. marie i often wonder what the ethnic make-up is of us porchies. we sure have diverse personalities. i'd guess that we're mostly gringos, belakaanas (navajo for white man) just because silicon investing, computerdom, and internet addiction is injected into our lives so much more than other ethnic groups. there used to be a much larger number of young men on here too but women are catching up. there's a good number of womens on this porch. i love that. i like women better than men anyway - except for indulging in sporting activities (but i'd take annette any day over stickface for going fishing with - i might choose coonaz over annette if we were doing competition fishing though). sometimes i try to imagine a great ethnic mixture, a melting pot on the porch that makes it an international free trade zone. i imagine that dealer, voltaire and coonaz are black and white and red all over. i imagine that polvie is half spanish, half indian, half white, and the other half everything else (except armenian)<G>. i imagine that clappy is half putero rican and half jewish. that jim willie is half irish catholic and half jack ass. that techguerilla is half irish catholic and half cuban. i imagine that jill is half citygirl and half cowgirl. that poet is half lesbian and half angel. that rev. edwards is half pastor and half sinner. that downsouth is half confederate and half yankee. that leggs is half legs and half more legs. that greg m. is half french and half scottish. i imagine that scott mantz is half surfer and half astronomer. that ed forrest is half eastern indian and half japanese. that disu is half angel and half child. thay murrey walker is half german and half austrailian. that uncle frank is half uncle and half aunt. that uncle west is half marine and half hippy. that depydog is half dog and half cat. that joel is half jewish and half paramedic. i imagine that jeremy atticus is half mocking bird and half movie star. that dr. david is half doctor and half nurse. that mslawyer is half hunk and half geek. that candide is half singer and half trombone player. i imagine that KG4, tim comiskey, myadd, lenny meyers, crookedI, crdrwsign, Getch, Dutch!, rr5, DOUGH and w-2 are muliculutral architechs. i imagine i should go to bed. none of the above is true but it makes a nice picture of diversity. g'nite -polvie
