Hillary is nauseating almost all New Yorkers with her smarmy and thoughtless comments. Bill Bradley may lose, but he will still have peoples' respect. Hillary will lose, and have engendered even greater dislike for herself than existed already.

By the way, I think those New Yorkers who are "getting to know" Hillary, are growing in their sympathy for the President. Perhaps in addition to all the other epithets that are aimed his way, we should add "long-suffering." (I would add that to any description of Frank Gifford as well).

Fair enough E, but actually, I hadn't said a word one way or another regarding Bush's honesty. However, I find no compelling evidence to suggest he is particularly dishonest. Especially when compared to Al Gore and Bill Clinton.

I also don't fear an evil conspiratorial alliance launched behind closed doors with Pat Robertson. Maybe I'm just naive, but I don't see conspiracies lurking behind closed doors about to control us all. And even if there were, I don't believe the people launching them are intelligent enough to manipulate the masses in such a way which would dramatically change our way of life.

Regardless of who becomes President. America will move forward in a positive direction. Because when you really come down to it, politically the local school board and county commissioner has more effect on my life than the President. And I will stay engaged at the local level, like all citizens should.
