It's a tough learning process, been there done that too. I have Watley and AMTD for downtimes and possible short trades not available at Watley.

Ever see a hot stock drop 10-15 quick points while the market maker picks off those limit orders to steal cheap shares. Traders are part of the blame for todays volatility but its the market makers who truly cause the violent swings. If you can trade like Knight your guaranteed to make money every day. As for Big I still have an occasional down day. Good words of wisdom and experience KM! Big

I couldn't agree more. They were down 2 hours this morning and I was on the phone for an hour before the close - down again. Hope there is a class action lawsuit against these crooks. You are absolutely right about the fills too. However for the past two days, my limits are not filled even though the price is below the limit.... interesting huh? Yesterday I had to wait for a confirmation on a limit order placed at 1:00 until late last night. Buyer beware and get the heck out. I'm sure they are going to lose customers that trade a lot and that's where they make their money. I say they should be a good short in about a week because there will be ramifications for their total incompetence today. For the first time in my life I want to be included in any class action lawsuits.
