Rarebird: I am not disputing your position, just defending folks right to discuss fundamentals on this thread without being insulted...

Hi Rarebird ..

I see that you are not doing the full "two step boogie" yet..

That tells me that we are not at the top yet.

Anyway .. your question about FA.

Some day .. (when that will be nobody knows) this whole fluff thing is gonna do the "burn baby burn" dance. So the FA question is valid for a long term view. When the bubble breaks the only thing that will be left will be stocks that have real value to them. Even they will be greatly underpriced then. But they will still exist.

Meantime .. LG is one of the last persons to be looking at FA. He's made a lot of money in these markets.

Now then .. FA ..

I look a supply/demand for a stock .. is that FA or TA?
I look at available money to fund the willing buyers .. FA or TA?

Looking at a 10Q and P/E would fit within the FA area, I agree.

I also consider cash on hand and degree of future obligations.

So then .. some folks that I know work it like this:
TA for some fast clip gains .. take a small portion of the gain for a FA move. lather rinse repeat .. as long as the bubble continues up they have more and more of the fast gains to contribute to their FA kinds of stocks.

Does that make sense to you?
