SB,

In other words, it's a mass conspiracy (doomed to failure, even) at the top international levels, which nobody outside you, hohoho Mike and Earlie has yet appreciated!? WOW, dude!

LOL. Come on, this is getting too farcical.

How about this? The foreigners are buying because US represents a better investment compared to the sluggish economies of the EU and Japan. Besides, the Japanese being net exporters need to check the rise of the Yen, otherwise their export market dries off, which in turn kills off any chance at a Japanese economic recovery. The EU's largest economies (France and Germany) are running budget deficits, have copious amount of socio-economic structural problems - leading to an inflexible labor market and high unemployment - and has to deal with a hawkish Central Bank on top of that. The US, OTOH, is running a budget surplus, has the best performing Central Banker over the last decade and is the home to the hotbed of innovation - the Silicon Valley and the Boston Route 128 area.
