So are you saying that the market has reached a "permanently high plateau", at least in the cases of "tech, biotech, small cap, and overseas"?

Is that what you mean when you say that historical norms rarely kick in? Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that RCA eventually went down, as did the railroad mania. Even the Dutch Tulip craze eventually died down. I can't think of one mania that has continued indefinitely.

But of course, perhaps this time it really is different, and tech and biotech are up in nosebleed for the far future (next 50 years or so). We'll have to stay tuned to find out.
