JDN, >Why do the AMD people wish to expend so much energy posting on the
INTC thread

I guess the worm has turned, and the mouse is roaring. After 32 years of eating exhaust from Intel's race car, maybe they've pulled out to even or maybe ahead for a few months. The fresh air is intoxicating.

JDN - Re: "Why do the AMD people wish to expend so much energy posting on the INTC thread and frankly, why do we INTC people expend so many posts discussing AMD. I myself wish we would stick to our own knitting and discuss INTC its successes and problems and "let the chips fall where they may". "

AMD happens to be Intel's major problem at this point.

Do you debate how one football team will do in a football game without regard to the team they are playing ?

Dear Tony: I have been wondering the same thing. Why do the AMD people wish to expend so much energy posting on the INTC thread and frankly, why do we INTC people expend so many posts discussing AMD. I myself wish we would stick to our own knitting and discuss INTC its successes and problems and "let the chips fall where they may". JDN

How long did you think you could keep the AMD riff-raff out?!! Two days of the what the AMD thread endures on a daily basis and already you are complaining.

I think it may be time to sell your Intel shares and move on over to the CSCO thread.....I hear the views are better and it has some of the most civilized posts on SI. Its a little pricey and you may need to downsize the number of shares in your portfolio, but you will adjust.

Good luck.
