Dear Paul: I may be naive, but I do not perceive AMD as a problem. Certainly not INTC's main problem. You are more familiar I think then I with INTC. Surely there are bigger problems than swatting at gnats there. How about remaking the company to face the new age in telecommunication and computing. Just as the big Mainframes eventually died for IBM, so too is the plain vanilla desktop computers. There will always be a place in this world for both but the future lies in user friendly equipment IMHO. Also, I think it very important that INTC always stick to the high road and avoid quick releases etc to win a "race" which frankly I think few care about. In my case for instance, the ONLY reason I would like to see the 1 gb and up stuff out is so that the 800mh gets cheaper. JDN
