I would be interested in the perspective of long-time BINCers on insider sales over the past year. On the one hand they don't look excessive, particularly relative to total holdings and considering the Levins are both in their 70's, and haven't been taking huge salaries.

OTOH, if you were expecting a big "pop" this year based on GRAS, why sell now? Estate planning might be a convincing argument for their 1999 sales, but how do we explain the 100K shares sold (from the charitable remainder trust) last month? I don't recall the mechanics of CRTs, but even if they are forced to liquidate a portion annually, why do it in February if GRAS is expected in a few months?

Anybody familiar enough with charitable remainder trusts who might be able to shed light on this?

TIA
