Flash appears to be the "rate-limiting step" due to its relative scarcity right now.

Aus re my last post and the above, what are the odds of device mfgrs designing in huge amounts of flash, obviating the need for removable storage, once flash capacity catches up with demand and flash prices drop?

Aus, re Solectron's run rate limit. I'm betting part of SLR's limit is due to shortages of tantalum capacitors (used in their manufacturing of cell phones).
