Looking forward to tonight's analyses of "what happened" - when it's happened. Dow hasn't quite gone thru year low, if that's any consolation.

What are you going to do with dual gigaherz cpu's? Am still gathering the courage for Win 2K.

Jim,

I guess I get egg on my face for this call. The SP500 just fell back into the downward channel. Dow did similarly and the COMPX still is defying gravity. I still don't see a market melt down, only a 10 to 15 percent correction from the peak.

My SP500 system is on the verge of a buy signal. I am looking for a gap open down to 1330 and then a bounce from there.

Though the selling was broadly based in the last hour, the damage was limited with the most recent large point gainers retracing the most.

I am looking for the semiconductor conference to support the extended SOX till the end of week.

A you re-considering the beaten down transports given the rise in oil to $34 a barrel?
