OT to kis: I recently saw pianist Arkady Volodos solo with the SF Symphony (MTT was even conducting <g>). I began to worry whether they'd have to take a fire extinguisher to the Steinway at the end of the performance. <g>

But I type faster than anyone I've ever met -faster than I can speak, literally- and I don't even
think about it. I guess that's how people who started playing an instrument at a young age
must feel when they pick up a guitar and start making magic..

I suppose. I can't play anything well.

>>I type faster than ... I can speak

You either speak painfully slowly (do you stutter?) or type astonishingly fast.

A fast typist is 90 wpm, no? That's a slow conversational pace. Try reading a sentence one word to each tick of a second hand -- and that's 60 wpm, a respectable secretarial typing speed.
