Tex,

There is a fair amount of blood in the street today alright. I lost *two* Benz's in one day :-)

But you have to hold onto your perspective. It's bad, but we do need to blow off the top of this one and Uncle Al is determined that it happen pretty soon. Although it's an election year, the problems are too serious to ignore.

Interestingly enough, the hits weren't exactly rational....

Wait till tomorrows opening. It's precariously balanced right now.

Thanks, Torben

Tex,

I just took a look at the charts of a number of issues today and it sort of puts things in perspective. The trends are so far unbroken for everything I own. None of the four issues I'm sitting on did anything particularly out of the ordinary even given the rather grim market conditions.

It'll be interesting to see what tomorrow will bring. But unless the slide continues and accelerates, I don't think it's time to pull the ejection handle yet. Tomorrow I may change my mind, but there just doesn't seem to be real cause yet.

So don't turn out the lights quite yet. Have an extra drink and ride it out.

Thanks, Torben
