It is a thrill ... Isn't it fun
You are right Frank, This is one of the most thrilling and fun times to be alive. Who would have guessed what an enlightened administration with capable managers could accomplish these last several years. Here's hoping for 8 more like the last!.

Frank: correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Alan Greenspan first appointed by a Republican president? Your post was funny, though.

Frank, a people's capitalism has always been as much of a myth as a worker's paradise. Only recently have we had the technology and the information transfer to make this a reality, where the average Joe six-pack can participate by capitalizing companies and sharing in its profits. This is all new, and the establishment is not ready to understand it, much less deal with it. AG is doing what he can to maintain the status quo, which is what he understands. Unfortunately, in this battle of wills and philosophies, the entire US and Western economy is at risk before a new economic order is established. This might sound extreme, I hope it is, but unless AG is brought into check, and our legislative and executive branch begins to exercise their constitutional responsibilities, I'm afraid we will continue to see a fourth branch of government attempt to determine the economic future of our country. Remember, AG is a child of the 20's and 30's.

Frank,

I know I have been outspoken about AG and the current FED attitudes lately, but I am even more convinced that they are treading on thin ice here.

1. $2.00 gallon gas is an "excise tax"~ it bites.

2. The Dow is now -14%

3. S&P now -7.8%

4. And there is no real inflation

5. Productivity #'s continue to impress.

This is going to get interesting.

Happy Hunting to All!

PS- I loved your post!
