In effect they are saying we still haven't even done 8xx or 9xx and we dont plan to for a few weeks but hey look we are doing 1GHz! I am sure that they can produce some 1GHz but the fact that they released 1GHz before they released lower speed grades which you yourself claim (and I agree) that they can indeed make but aren't ready to release only serves to emphasize how desperate they were to appear as though they had not lost the race.
